Gautam Adani named Asia’s richest man

New Delhi: Gautam Adani has become Asia’s richest person after shares of Adani Group listed companies active in the airport sector jumped from apples.

He has left behind Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries. With a net worth of USD 111 billion, Adani is now the 11th richest person in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Ambani is ranked 12th with a net worth of $109. The Adani Group plans to spend $90 billion in capital over the next decade as part of its expansion plan.
