2 arrested for demanding ransom from businessman in Punjab

Punjabenews: Police today registered a case against three accused in connection with a case of snatching and extortion from shopkeepers of Talwandi Sabo in Bathinda.

Police have arrested two of the accused and raids are on to arrest the third.
DSP Buta Singh said that Rakha Ram had complained that Raj deep Singh along with two other youths entered his shop and demanded Rs 10,000.
Acting swiftly, the police registered a case against Rajdeep Singh, a resident of Talwandi Sabo, and two unidentified persons on the statement of the victim Rakha Ram.
