22 dead, several injured in mass shooting in US Lewiston, Maine
Punjab E News: At least 22 people were killed and dozens injured in a shooting in Lewiston, Maine, police said, adding that the gunman was still on the run. CNN put the death toll at more than 20.
According to a media report, the shooting took place in a bowling alley, which also reported gunfire at a local bar and Walmart distribution center.
Lewiston City Councilor Robert McCarthy said authorities had confirmed 22 dead and several wounded.

Local police posted a photo on Facebook of the shooter, who is seen carrying a weapon inside the bowling alley. The Androskogin County Sheriff’s Department wrote on Facebook that Law Enforcement is investigating the involvement of two shooters in this incident.
