6-year-old girl raped in Ferozepur, accused arrested

Ferozepur: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped in a village in Ferozepur district, police said on Tuesday. When the condition of the victim girl was critical, she was admitted to the hospital for treatment, where she is undergoing treatment. The accused took her to the graveyard and committed a disgusting act.

In a statement to the police, the victim’s father has said that the daughter had gone to the grocery shop a short distance from the house to get food for herself.

Where accused Jaisam, resident of Talwandi Nipla Makhu, Ferozepur was present. He lured girl and took her with him to the village cemetery. There he physically assaulted his daughter.

ASI Balwant Singh of Makku police station said that on the basis of the complaint, the accused has been identified and arrested.
