Accused in Sidhu Moosewala murder case: Gangsters Mandeep Toofan and Manmohan Singh killed in jail
Chandigarh: A bloody clash broke out between the gangsters accused in the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case inside the Goindwal jail on Sunday in which Manmohan Singh died. While gangster Keshav has been seriously injured.
All three are accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Mandeep Singh alias Toofan of Batala and Manmohan Singh alias Mohana of Budhlana who died in this clash.
Mandeep Toofan Jaggu was the sharp shooter of Bhagwanpuria gang. He was a resident of Rai. Toofan’s name came up in this case after the interrogation of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. Mandeep Singh Toofan was arrested by the Anti-Gangster Task Force of the Punjab Police in the month of September last year. Mandeep Toofan was also associated with the murder of gangster Rana Kandovalia. Toofan was accused of providing vehicles to Moosewala’s shooters.
Who is gangster Manmohan Singh?
The second gangster to died in this clash is Manmohan Singh Mohana. Manmohan Singh was accused of doing recce of Sidhu Moosewala. Gangster Manmohan Singh was earlier associated with the Akali Dal and later switched over to the Congress during the Punjab elections.
Manmohan Singh was a resident of Mansa. There are many criminal cases registered against him. He was in jail in connection with the murder of Budhlada Truck Union chief Darshan Singh. Gangsters Lawrence and Manmohan Singh were questioned by the Punjab Police in connection with the Moosewala murder case.
