Amritpal Singh absconding, massive search operation underway to nab him

Punjab News: Police have said that a massive search operation to nab pro-Khalistan activist Amritpal Singh continued for the second day on Sunday.

“He is now absconding and we are on the lookout for him and we will arrest him soon,” Jalandhar Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal told reporters.
Chahal said six to seven gunmen of Amritpal Singh have been arrested. The Punjab government on Saturday launched a major crackdown against Amritpal, in which the police arrested 78 members of an outfit led by him, the officials said.
