Punjab News: The security arrangements at the Central Jail Goindwal Sahib jail have once again come under the scanner. An inmate of the central jail escaped after dodging the police. According to the information received, the prisoner Bholu Muradpuria, who was brought from the Central Jail Goindwal Sahib for treatment, escaped from the Civil Hospital after dodging the police.

The city police have launched an investigation into the matter.
A case was registered against Bholu Muradpuria at Tanda police station in Hoshiarpur district on September 6, 2018. Bholu Muradpuria was being lodged in central jail Goindwal Sahib when Bholu Muradpuria told the jail authorities that his health was deteriorating.
