Assassination of former Punjab CM Beat Singh case: Terrorist Hawara acquitted by Chandigarh court
Chandigarh: Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Jagtar Singh Hawara, convicted in the assassination case of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, has been acquitted by a Chandigarh court. He has got this relief in the case related to RDX. In the court, the Chandigarh Police could not present evidence in the RDX case against Jagtar Singh Hamara.
In fact, Jagtar Singh Hawara had provided RDX to his colleagues Kamaljit and Paramjeet to carry out the blast. In this case, the police witness was not coming for his testimony for a long time.
Now the police have reported his death in court. Due to this, Jagtar Singh Hawara has been acquitted due to lack of evidence in the court. Hawara is currently lodged in Tihar Jail in Delhi.
