Chandigarh: Punjab Police Chief Gaurav Yadav today visited the blast site at Heritage Street here. He denied that it was a terrorist incident. He said that this is a less powerful explosion, which happened in a container. The two explosions are similar. Detonators were not used during the blasts. It could be an act of a mischievous person who wants to create tension.
An investigation into the incident is underway. The police are also trying to identify the unidentified person and find out the reason behind it. A team of forensic experts will soon ascertain the blast and the material used to carry out the blast.
