CBI books Sameer Wankhede, others on NCB complaint
New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday conducted raids at the premises of former NCB Mumbai zone chief Sameer Wankhede in connection with a corruption case related to the Aryan Khan cruise case.
Raids have been conducted at 29 places including Delhi, Mumbai and Ranchi. The CBI team has also reached the house of Wankhede’s sister, father and in-laws.
An FIR has been registered against Wankhede for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 25 crore in exchange for not implicating Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the drug recovery case on board a cruise ship, a CBI official was quoted as saying.
