Daughter elopes with lover in Jagraon, man commits suicide

Chandigarh: Upset over daughter eloped with her lover, a man tragically committed suicide by hanging himself in Jagraon town.

The police conducted a postmortem examination before handing over the body to the family. While the girl’s family made arrangements for her father’s funeral, she herself was preparing for her impending marriage.

Not only was the father being cremated, but simultaneously, his daughter was marrying her beloved in court.

Following their marriage, the newlyweds moved into a house near the railway lines of Mullapur. Upon receiving information about this, the police took the couple into custody late in the evening on Monday. However, police officials are currently refusing to provide any further details on the matter.
