Deepak Ranga, key shooter of RPG attack on Mohali police intelligence headquarters, arrested

Punjabenews: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has succeeded in arresting Deepak Ranga, the main shooter of the rocket-propelled grenade attack on the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali in May 2022.

Deepak Ranga is a close associate of Canada-based gangster-turned-terrorist Lakhbir Singh Sandhu alias Landa and Pakistan-based gangster-turned-terrorist Harwinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda, the probe agency said today.
Deepak Ranga has been involved in several other violent terrorist and criminal crimes, including violent killings, apart from his involvement in the rocket-propelled grenade attack. Rinda and Landa have actively provided him terrorist funding and logistical support.
It may be recalled that on the night of May 9, 2022, the RPG attack on the headquarters of Punjab Police Intelligence in Mohali had shattered the window panes of one floor of the building.
