Dhillon-Brothers suicide case: Accused cops on run: family to protest in Kapurthala
Punjab News: The police personnel named in the famous Dhillon Brothers suicide case of Jalandhar have not been arrested yet. There is a lot of anger among family and close friends about this. According to the family, inspector Navdeep Singh, ASI Balwinder Singh and constable Jagjit Kaur, accused in the case of abetment to suicide, had filed their anticipatory petition in Kapurthala court.
The court had refused to grant bail considering the seriousness of the case, but despite that, the three accused have not been arrested.
The family alleges that the police are giving shelter to their employees.
Manavjit and Jashnbir jumped into the Beas river after being harassed by the policemen and his father Jitendrapal Singh will leave Guru Nanak Mission Chowk in Jalandhar today to protest Kapurthala.
