Farmer murdered in Kapurthala

Kapurthala: A farmer was brutally murdered in Hussainpur Bulle village of Sultanpur Lodhi sub-division of Kapurthala. The throat of the deceased has been slit with a sharp weapon and there are also wounds on the head.

After receiving information about the incident, the Kabirpur police station has taken the body of the farmer and started investigation.

Confirming this, DSP Babbandeep Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Balvir Singh (55) resident of village Hussainpur Bulle. The police team is investigating the matter seriously.
