Firing incident at Bhagho Budha village- accused arrested with weapon

Case registered at Kabirpur police station

Kapurthala(Sultanpur lodhi): In a major breakthrough, kapurthala police has nabbed the accused for firing incident at village Bhagho Budha , in which two persons of a family were injured.

SSP kapurthala Mr. Rajpal singh Sandhu said that accused who fired in Bhagobuddha village arrested with weapon and cartridges which was used in the incident and a case has been registered.

He said that Mr. Harvinder Singh SP (D) Kapurthala and Mr. Babandeep Singh DSP led the investigation and a police party
Comprising Sub Inspector Lakhwinder Singh has nabbed the accused.

On receiving the information from , a Case No. 13 dated 3-5-
2023 Under section 307,452,506,120B IPC and under section 25 of Arms Act at Police Station Kabirpur has been registered on the statements made by Udeek Chand S/O Mangat Ram.

He said that after registering the case, 2 police parties launched search operation which led the arrest of accused Sagar son Kulwant Singh R/O Bhagobuddha alongwith a Pistol (12 bore ) . Further investigation of the case is going On, he added.
