Four youths arrested in connection with the murder of Ludhiana youth in Surrey
Toronto: Four youths have been arrested and charged with serious murder for shooting dead a 28-year-old Indian-origin man in Canada’s British Columbia province. The victim has been identified as Yuvraj Goyal. The deceased’s sister Charu Singla said that her brother used to work in a showroom selling cars in Surrey.
The family does not know why he was murdered. Goyal’s brother-in-law Bawandeep said Yuvraj was talking to his mother, who lives in India, on the phone just before he was shot.
The four suspects – Manvir Basra, 23, Sahib Basra, 20, Harkirat, 23, of Surrey and Kelon Francois, 20, of Ontario – were arrested soon after the shooting.
