Gangster Bablu arrested after 4-hour encounter in Punjab

After a four-hour encounter in Punjab’s Gurdaspur, the police have arrested notorious gangster Ranjodh Bablu. He was also shot. The police followed him from home. After which he hid in a sugarcane field in Kotla Boja Singh village near Achal Sahib on Batala-Jalandhar road in Gurdaspur. 

After a search operation there, the police caught him. During this time, the gangster fired 30 and the police fired 40. Two weapons have also been recovered from the arrested gangster Bablu.

Batala SSP Satinder Singh said that in the last 15 days, two cases of murderous attack have been registered against Ranjodh Bablu in Batala. Seeing the police chasing, he threw the bike on the road and hid in the fields.
