Girl murdered over one-sided affair in Chandigarh, accused arrested

Chandigarh: In a shocking incident, 25-year-old Mohammad Shariq entered the house of an 18-year-old girl and killed her in a case of one-sided love affair in Sector-45 (Burail) of Chandigarh. It is being told that the girl had come to know that the accused was married. Due to this the girl had stopped talking to the accused who was pressuring her to have a love affair.

The accused and the deceased lived as tenants in houses opposite each other. The accused is originally from Bela village in Madhubani district of Bihar. Meanwhile, Police have arrested Mohammad Shariq from near the Sector-43 bus stand in Chandigarh while trying to escape after the murder.
