Gunman of Sidhu Moosewala’s father accidentally shoots at his other gunman at a wedding in Punjab’s Mansa
Chandigarh: Navjot Singh Sidhu, who opened fire during a wedding at the Marriage Palace Royal Green near Mansa Kenchian, has been identified as the gunman of Balkaur Singh Sidhu, father of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
One person, who was injured in the firing, was later admitted to the Civil Hospital in Mansa and later referred to Bathinda.
During the police investigation, it has been found that the person who was shot is also the gunman of Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh. This was confirmed by Baldev Singh, in-charge of Police Station City Mansa, in the afternoon. According to the police, Navjot Singh Sidhu is the gunman of Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh Sidhu, who had come to see the wedding on leave and accidentally opened fire during which Gurwinder Singh was injured.
DSP Sanjeev Goel said that Navjot Singh fired and Gurwinder Singh was injured. He has been referred. Action is being taken in this matter and a case of negligence has been registered against Navjot Singh. Now the question is that when the Punjab Police and the District Magistrate have banned the carrying of arms in marriage palaces, then why did this gunman go with the ammunition.
