IAS officer Sanjay Popli granted six-day bail
Chandigarh: IAS officer Sanjay Popli, who has been in jail for over a year in a corruption and disproportionate assets case, has been granted bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
He has been granted bail for six days by the High Court with conditions for the first death anniversary of his son and the care of his ailing wife. He will be on bail from June 23 to 28.
He will have to surrender on June 29. However, he will not be able to leave the city during the time period of bail.
He will also have to share his phone number with the police. If he breaks any kind of rules, strict action will be taken against him.
