IB and RAW to question Amritpal, who is lodged in isolation cell of Dibrugarh jail in Assam

Punjab E News: Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh has been arrested and sent to Dibrugarh jail in Assam. In this jail, Amritpal has been kept in an isolated cell. After Amritpal’s arrest, now the major agencies of the country are preparing to interrogate him. According to the information received, the Intelligence Bureau and Research and Analytical Wing (RAW) can interrogate Amritpal soon. 

  Amritpal has been kept in a separate cell in Dibrugarh jail, a senior official said. Some other associates of Amritpal have also been kept in this jail. The official said That Amritpal is likely to be questioned by many agencies of the country including IB, RAW. During this interrogation, questions can also be asked about the funding received by them and their supporters.  

  The Assam Police has been asked to further beef up security in and around the area, including the Dibrugarh jail, he said. 

  Also, instructions have been given to properly check the people coming to meet the prisoners in the jail and keep their details. Apart from all this, if the need is felt, CAPF personnel can also be deployed.
