Major crackdown on interstate gun running racket by Jalandhar police; weapons, drugs seized

Jalandhar: The Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has further breaks the backbone of an organized network involved in international drug smuggling and interstate gun running. New revelations have emerged as a significant haul of weapons and drugs was recovered during the investigation.

In the first case, eight weapons along with 12 magazines were seized from four arrested individuals, bringing the total number of seized weapons to 25.

In a separate development, a courier company operator was arrested along with 2 kg of well-packed opium, contributing to a total opium recovery of 29 kgs.
