Makhan Singh jailed for molesting girl on train in UK
Punjab E News: A 39-year-old Indian-origin man in the UK has been jailed for 16 weeks and ordered to be monitored for seven years after pleading guilty to molesting a girl on a train in 2021.
Makhan Singh from Sandwell in West Midlands County has been ordered by Warwick Crown Court to pay a surcharge of 128 pounds to the victim.
The court heard that the 20-year-old girl was on a train from Birmingham Moore Street to London Marylebone in September 2021, when Makhan Singh started harassing her.
He later sat on the seat next to the victim, allegedly molesting her. The girl recorded the movement of the accused and sent it to the police and got him arrested.
