Minor girl raped, murder and hanged in Amritsar’s Majitha

In a sensational case, a minor girl raped and strangulated to death in Majitha village here, police said. 

According to the complaint filed by victim’s mother that her husband was dead. She is living here with her minor daughter (15). 

As a relative got married in the village, she went to bank for withdrawing cash and her daughter was alone in the house. When she returned home, her daughter’s body was hanging from in the house. 

She suspected that in her absence, two men from Sultanpur Lodhi first raped her daughter and then killed her, hanged her from the ceiling and fled after the incident.

Majitha police said that on the basis of the statements of the woman, the police have registered a case against the accused under sections 306 and 376. Both the accused are absconding and raids are being conducted to arrest them. The police have taken possession of the body and started investigating the matter.
