Missing child feared dead in US, parents flee to India
Washington: A six-year-old boy, who had been missing for several months in Texas, is feared dead. His parents have fled to India and a case has been registered against them for leaving the child destitute and endangering his life. Noel Rodríguez-Alvarez has been missing since last November. He was physically handicapped.
The search for the missing child has been shifted to a murder investigation and efforts are on to recover the body of the child. Arrest warrants have been issued against Noel’s mother Cindy Rodriguez Singh and Arshdeep Singh for allegedly abandoning their child and endangering his life. The US has appealed to India to hand over the two to it.
