MP Sanjay Raut receives death threat in Lawrence Bishnoi’s name

New Delhi: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bal Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut has allegedly received death threats in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. According to party officials, Raut received the alleged threat message in the form of a WhatsApp message on his mobile late on Friday night.

The message warned that whenever Raut is spotted in New Delhi, he will be shot dead with an AK-47 rifle. Raut has informed the Mumbai Police Commissioner about this and the matter is under investigation.
Earlier, he had written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding the threat to his life.
Shiv Sena ‘s (Uddhav Bal Thackeray) Leader of Opposition (Council) Ambadas Danve today said the state government has withdrawn Raut’s security cover and urged that threats should be taken seriously. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had also recently received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang or his accomplices.
