Mumbai Crime Branch to probe Thackeray (UBT) group leader’s murder

Mumbai: The Mumbai Crime Branch has handed over the probe into the murder of Shiv Sena-Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (Shiv Sena-UBT) leader Abhishek Ghosalkar during a Facebook Live.

After shooting Abhishek, a local ‘social worker’ committed suicide by shooting himself. Abhishek (40) was the son of former MLA Vinod Ghosalkar and a former councillor.

Vinod is also said to be a loyalist of Uddhav Thackeray. The video of the incident, which took place on Thursday evening at Maurice Noronha’s office in IC Colony, Borivali (West), has gone viral on social media, in which the attacker can be seen shooting Abhishek in the stomach and shoulder.
