Non-bailable warrants issued against Sukhbir Badal

Non-bailable warrants have been issued against Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Badal and senior party leader Virsa Singh Valtoha and they have been ordered to appear before the court today personally. 

They were booked for violating corona rules in police station Beas on August 1, 2021. 

Badal had reached the mining site with his supporters, where he also threatened the employees of the mining company. The police had registered a case in this regard.

Sukhbir Badal and Virsa Singh Did not turn up at the court despite repeated calls during the ongoing hearing in the CJM court. Due to which, a non-bailable order has been passed against them in October last and he has been asked to reach today. 

If they do not come even today, the court can take strict action against them.
