Operation Eagle-2: Punjab Police conduct special checking across the state today
Punjabenews: As part of ‘Operation Eagle-2’, under the guidance of Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav, special checks were carried out simultaneously at bus stands and railway stations across the state by the police with an aim to curb anti-social elements.
Police teams led by Faridkot Range IG P K Yadav and District Superintendent of Police Gulneet Singh Khurana checked vehicles at bus stands and railway stations besides sensitive places.
He said that today, for the second time, the checking operation of The Punjab Police has been launched, which has been named as ‘Operation Eagle-2’.
Earlier, under this campaign, checking was done across the state under Operation Eagle on December 23. He said such operations would continue till drugs and gangsters were wiped out from the state.
