Plot scam: Court grants one-day police remand of former minister Sunder Sham Arora
Chandigarh: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau has arrested former Industries Minister and BJP leader Sunder Sham Arora in connection with the industrial plot scam. The former minister had already been arrested for allegedly bribing the investigating officer and the AIG vigilance to the tune of Rs 50 lakh to crack the case.
He was currently lodged in jail under judicial custody. The Vigilance today arrested Arora on a production warrant and produced him before a Mohali court. The court sent the accused to one-day police remand.
