Police arrested a man with 1kg heroin and Rs 27 lakh drug money in Tarn Taran

Punjab E News: A man has been arrested with one kg of heroin in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district. Police also recovered Rs 27 lakh from his possession.

The arrest was made during a cordon and search operation carried out by the Tarn Taran police on Tuesday, Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said.
“Yesterday during a cordon and search operation, Tarn Taran police arrested one person and seized 1 kg heroin, Rs 27 lakh and Scorpio without number plate.”
