Shopkeeper killed in broad daylight Malerkotla

Malerkotla: A shopkeeper was stabbed to death by an unidentified assailant while he was sunbathing outside his shop in Sharafa Bazar area of Malerkotla at around 1.45 pm today.

The assailant fled from the spot after committing the crime. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Sadiq, 40.
According to information received from the spot, Sadiq, who was injured in the incident that took place in the city’s most crowded Sarafa Bazar, was rushed to the Civil Hospital Malerkotla by which time he had succumbed to his injuries.
