Situation tense in Jalandhar’s village after Sacrilege incident in Gurdwara

Jalandhar: The situation remained tense after the incident of sacrilege at Gurdwara Sahib in Mansurpur village in Jalandhar District in the early hours of today.

After the police arrested one of the accused, the Sikh leaders are refusing to hand over the other accused to the police. On this occasion, where the accused has been kept inside by the villagers, the leaders of various organizations have sat on a dharna in front of that room. 
The protesters are demanding that the accused is in an inebriated state and they will interrogate the accused himself for 48 hours and hand him over to the police. A large number of police forces from Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur districts have arrived on the occasion.
