TADA convict Gurdeep Khera gets 2-month parole
Chandigarh: The struggle of the Qaumi Insaaf Morcha for the release of Sikh prisoners is getting a boost. Sikh organizations are continuously taking out a protest march against the government over the release of bandi Singhs.
Singh, who is lodged in Amritsar jail, has been granted parole for two months. He is Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Prevention Act (TADA) convict.
Gurdeep Singh Khera, who was shifted from a jail in Karnataka to the Central Jail in Amritsar, has been granted parole for two months.
Gurdeep Singh Khera has been granted parole for eight weeks on February 6. Gurdeep Singh is a resident of Jalupur Khera village of Baba Bakala. He is accused of bomb blasts in Delhi. He was arrested in 1990. The court had in 1991 sentenced Gurdeep Khera to life imprisonment under TADA act.
