Torn Holy pages of Guru Granth Sahib found in canal in Ludhiana, Sikh organisations seek stern action

Ludhiana: The situation in Ludhiana’s Dugri area turned tense after torn pages of Guru Granth Sahib were found in a dry canal.

Sikh organizations collected the ‘saroops’ of Guru Granth Sahib lying in the canal and informed the police. Sikh organizations demanded that strictest action should be taken against those who are guilty in this regard. An investigation has been launched by the police who reached the spot.
The leaders of the organizations said that such an act is being done to spoil the atmosphere in Punjab, under which the holy pages of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji have been seen scattered in the canal.
