Chandigarh: An encounter broke out between two operatives of Lawrence Bishnoi gang and police on the Punjab-Rajasthan border. While chasing them, the police arrested both of them. One miscreant was seriously injured in the encounter.
According to the information, they demanded ransom from a businessman based in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan.
On a motorcycle, when they reached Abohar-Sriganganagar , they saw the police jeep and started running on the track along the canal. The police chased them and overpowered them. The two arrested henchmen are said to be residents of village Wahav Wala police station area.
