Woman murdered at home during robbery attempt in Jalandhar

Punjabenews: A 45-year-old woman was allegedly strangled to death by robbers after entering her house with an intention to rob her, police said.

After the murder, the robbers took DVR of CCTV cameras from the house. During this time, the woman’s son was sleeping in his room and the woman working in the house had gone to the roof of the house.
The police took possession of the woman’s body and sent it to the civil hospital for post-mortem and started further investigation.
It has also been reported that the dog kept in the house is also injured. Police said the deceased woman has been identified as Kamaljit Kaur.
