Woman SHO suspended in Ludhiana for allegedly taking Rs 1 lakh bribe in cyber crime

Ludhiana: A woman SHO in Punjab’s Ludhiana has been suspended in a corruption case. The woman officer was posted at Sarabha Nagar police station in Ludhiana. It had just been 5 days since the posting of this officer. It is discussed that this woman officer was posted here on the recommendation of an Aam Aadmi Party MLA.

The MLA also probably had no idea that the woman officer he was recommending and getting it posted. She was facing serious charges of taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh in Mohali cyber crime. The district police was not even aware of the allegations against the woman officer, nor did the woman police officer disclosed this information to the higher officers before taking charge of the police station.
In this case, the high officials of the police have suspended the woman SHO Amanjot Sandhu.
