Young man shot outside house in Nawanshahr, critical

Chandigarh: A youth was seriously injured when unidentified youths opened fire at him in Naimjara-Sanawa village on the Nawanshahr-Chandigarh main road.

According to the information received, a young man Jaskaran son of Purushottam Lal, a resident of village Sheikhupur Bagh, works as a confectioner.

His mother Taro told that the son had gone from home to work as a confectioner. Then two youths chased him on the main road and opened fire. The bullet fired by unidentified persons hit Jaskaran’s stomach.

His colleagues admitted him to the government hospital in Nawanshahr in an injured condition.
