Minister Bains criticizes central government over exclusion of Punjabi in CBSE exam pattern
Chandigarh: Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains criticized the central government, accusing it of being “anti-Punjab, Punjabi, and Punjabiyat.”
In a post on X, Bains said the BJP-led government’s stance had been exposed once again.
He alleged that Punjabi had been completely ignored in the new CBSE examination pattern for Class 10, calling it a direct attack on the country’s federal structure.
Bains said he strongly opposed the move and urged the central government to restore Punjabi’s status and respect immediately.
