New Delhi: NCERT committee chairman CI Isaac has said that they have recommended writing ‘Bharat’ instead of ‘India’ in school textbooks.
The committee has also recommended introduction of ‘classical history’ in place of ‘ancient history’ in textbooks and introduction of Indian Knowledge System (IKS) in the curriculum for all subjects.
