Punjabi youth dies of heart attack in Canada, family appeals for return of body

Toronto: A Punjabi youth from Amritsar, who had moved to Canada five months ago, has died of a heart attack, triggering a wave of mourning in his native village Bhoma.

The deceased, identified as Manjit Singh, was reportedly the only brother of two sisters. His sudden death has left the family devastated. Grieving relatives have urged both the Punjab and central governments to help facilitate the return of his body to India for final rites.
