19-year-old Punjab student dies under suspicious circumstances in England

London: A 19-year-old from Giddad Pindi village in Lohian Khas, identified as Gurvanshdeep Singh, has tragically died under suspicious circumstances in England. Gurvanshdeep had recently moved to the UK for his studies, aiming for a brighter future.

The young man arrived in England on July 14. Initially, he seemed healthy, but within a few weeks, he began feeling dizzy. On August 22, he was admitted to the hospital, where doctors discovered blood clots in his brain.

Despite medical intervention, Gurvanshdeep lost his battle for life.

The news of his death has sent shockwaves through his village, where his grieving family and community are in mourning.

His family, belonging to a middle-class background, has appealed to the Indian government and various institutions for help in bringing his body back to India.
