22-year-old youth murdered in Canada

Toronto: Jashandeep Singh Mann, a 22-year-old turbaned man, was found murdered with sharp weapons in a downtown parking lot in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Police have charged 40-year-old Edgar Whisker with murder in this case, who stood near the body after the incident.

The deceased, Jashandeep Singh Mann, had arrived in Canada about eight months ago.

Edmonton police and city mayor Amarjit Singh Sohi are being asked to investigate the incident as a hate crime.

The deceased youth was a resident of village Badla, District Malerkotla. The killer is said to have used a box cutter to commit the murder.
