7 killed in shooting at Hamburg church in Germany; several injured

New Delhi: In firing incident at a church in Hamburg, two dozen people were seriously injured in the incident and at least seven people lost their lives. German police said on Thursday that the firing took place at around 9:15 pm.

“According to initial indications, shots were fired at a church in Delboez Street in the Grossborstel district. Many people were seriously injured in this firing, some have even lost their lives,” police said, using the disaster warning app to alert people to the “extreme danger” in the area.
