Anti-Hindu slogans written on walls after vandalising temple in US

Washington: In Sacramento, California, unidentified anti-social elements vandalised the BAPS temple with the intention of spreading hatred and wrote slogans of ‘Hindus go back’ on its walls.

“We are united against hatred with prayers for peace,” the temple administration said. “While we stand firm in condemning hate, we are deeply saddened by this incident,” the group said in a statement.

This is the second time in a month that the vandalism at the temple has taken place. Indian-American businessman Ajay Jain has demanded an FBI investigation into the matter.

He wrote on ‘X’ that the security of all temples should be increased and available measures should be used.
