Canada suspends special screening of passengers travelling to India

Toronto: The order to conduct special screening of passengers of flights from Canada to Delhi has been withdrawn today.

Canada’s state-run media outlet Canada Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) quoted the transport minister’s office as saying that the investigation, which began on Monday, has been withdrawn today and passengers going to India will no longer have to go through the special screening process.

The reasons were being counted by the media houses by presenting views on the orders of the special investigation. The state-run media outlet did not give any reason for the cancellation of the earlier order.
