Death toll in Turkey-Syria reaches 4365, rescue operation underway

Chandigarh: Two teams of NDRF have left for Turkey after a meeting in the PMO regarding the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

An Indian Air Force C-17 along with search and rescue teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) left for Turkey. The aircraft is part of a larger relief effort that will be undertaken by the IAF along with other Indian organisations.
According to the latest figures, at least 2,921 people have died in Turkey, bringing the total death toll to 4,365.
