France makes condoms free for 18 to 25 year olds

New Delhi: In France, young people between the ages of 18 and 25 will get free condoms from next year. The announcement was made by French President Emmanuel Macron.

According to him, such a decision has been taken by the government due to the spread of unwanted pregnancies and sexual diseases in the country. According to health officials, there has been a 30 per cent increase in sexually transmitted diseases in France in 2020-21. In such a situation, the government has taken this decision to control them.
