G-7 summit in Italy: PM Modi meets Zelensky, Macron, Sunak

Bari (Italy): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron and his British counterpart Rishi Sunak on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in The Apulia region of Italy.

It is learnt that the Ukrainian President briefed Modi on various aspects of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Modi and French President Macron discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership, including in the areas of defence, nuclear and space.

The Prime Minister then spoke to Sunak. The two leaders greeted each other with hugs.
